Follow Up Date field for Work Orders
The Service Broker user now has the ability to select a follow up date during the Work Order creation process in order to better manage and oversee their workflow. The user may select the field titled “Follow Up Date” and use the Calendar/Date Picker box to determine the date. The user can also go and edit an existing Work Order and select this date at any time.
The user will be able to view this Follow Up Date from the Work Order List View and Work Order Full View for efficient work order management. A new filter is also available under the Work Order filter, where the user can search for specific Follow Up Dates.
Client Proposal PDF: Itemized Proposal PDF with Added Item Cost and Tax Columns
The Service Broker now has the option to add additional Proposal PDF columns by going to Company Settings and adding the Item and Tax Columns. Once turned on, all Client Proposal PDFs will show a further breakdown of the cost of each line item and their corresponding Tax Price.
Improved Work Order Filter–Search by Service Task
The user can now search for Work Orders based on assigned Tasks by selecting the “Service Task” field.
Improved Proposal Module Filters–Search by Proposal “Due Date”

The Service Broker user now has the ability to insert Default Client Proposal Terms & Conditions by toggling the setting on and entering the text in Company Settings. Now the user can send all Client Proposal PDFs to include the Broker’s Terms & Conditions at the footer of the page.
Remove Item Types from Invoice Creation–Hide Selected Item Types from Invoice Dropdown
The Service Broker user can hide selected Item Types in order to prevent invoicing the Client and/or Vendor against those Items.
Add Vendor NTE to Work Order List View–Service Broker & Vendor Portal
Both the Service Broker and Vendor user can now view a Trip’s NTE from the Work Order List View.
The first photo below shows the Service Broker portal and the overall Work Order/Client’s NTE in addition to the Trip 1/Vendor NTE.
The second photo below shows the Vendor portal and the Vendor NTE for Trip 1.
Work Order Client Billing Method–Bill based on the Trip’s Client Billing Method
When the Service Broker user is dispatching a Work Order, the Work Order Level Client Billing Method will now serve as the default Client Billing Method for each Trip within that Work Order.
The user now has the option to select different Client Billing Methods per Trip and will then generate Client invoices based on the Trip Level Billing Method.
Calendar Module & Global Time Zones
The user can now view the Calendar module in any timezone globally. The Calendar module will automatically recognize which time zone the user is currently in and adjust accordingly. In addition, all times in UtilizeCore will be listed with the corresponding time zone for further clarity.
Time Keeping–Auto Generated Email Report to Select Users
The Service Broker now has the ability to auto generate a Timekeeping Report email in order to capture the Service Brokers’ Team Members and their hours of work.
The user can configure this through Company Settings under the Notification Email tab. From there, the user must select and toggle on the Time Keeping section, toggled on, recipients
Improved Vendor & Client Payment Methods
The Service Broker now has the ability to pay the Vendor through a Credit Card or ACH (Automated Clearing House). Similarly, the Service Broker can now bill their Client through ACH.
Overall, the Service Broker can bill their Clients via five Payment Methods
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- Check
- Netbanking
- ACH.
Similarly, the Service Broker can pay their Vendors via four Payment Methods:
- Check
- Banking
- ACH
- Credit Card
Tax Exempt for All Vendor Invoices–Company Settings
The Service Broker can now set all Vendor Invoices to be Tax Exempt through Company Settings.
Proposal Billing Method now available for the Vendor
The Vendor can now bill the Service Broker through the Proposal Billing Method. The user may first set the Vendor billing method to Proposal during the Work Order creation process. From here, the Service Broker user can view the received Vendor Proposal and convert it directly into a Vendor Invoice.
The sales price, quantity, and sales tax percentage on this Proposal will then automatically populate onto the Vendor Invoice for the corresponding line items. Note, multiple Vendor Proposals under one Work Order will populate onto the Vendor Invoice as separate line items. The Service Broker can now effectively bill their Client from this Vendor Invoice and generate the Client Invoice.
Bulk Mark Work Orders & Client Invoices as ‘Ready For Billing’
The Service Broker can now Bulk Select Work Orders and change the the Client Invoice status to ‘Ready for Billing’.
The Service Broker can configure Invoice Validation questions in Company Settings to ensure that the change of the Client Invoice status is warranted and recorded properly. The user also has the ability to edit these validation questions based on their preferences. Upon changing the Client Invoice Status to ‘Ready for Billing’, a pop up box will appear for the user to fill out prior to Bulk switching the statuses.
After verifying the validation questions, the Client Invoice Status and Icon will turn red and read ‘Ready for Billing’.

Email Notification to Vendors–Reminder to log Services
=Service Brokers who offer Snow Services with a WeatherWorks integration can send improved Vendors email reminders to log work performed. Specifically, these email reminders for WeatherWork related Trips will include a note that the Vendor has 72 hours after a Weather Event is complete to adjust the Work Order.
Self Performing Service Brokers–Team Member Work Order PDF Notifications
Service Brokers specializing in self-performing services who dispatch work out to internal Team Members will now be able to notify these individuals via email with separately attached Work Order PDF, inclusive of all service details.
Improved Vendor Work Order PDF Report–Signature & Store Stamp Footer
The Service Broker user now has the option to select both the Report Signature and Store Stamp to be included on the Work Order Report PDF.
Improved Proposal PDF Formatting
The Service Broker now has the access to advanced HTML text to improve Proposal PDF formatting and legibility. In addition, the quantity, unit of measure, and tax columns now populate below the overall Proposal description for further clarity and organization.
Work Order Attachments–Configure Attachment Upload with Third-Party Integrations
Service Brokers who are integrated with Service Channel will be able to manually select which Work Order attachments uploaded in UtilizeCore will pass and sync into Service Channel.
Vendor Portal–Ability for Vendor to Add new Trip to existing Work Order
